MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., April 6, 2011 – SPM Resorts, Inc., a full-service professional timeshare management company, hired Bill Schultz to serve as vice president of financial services and IT services. Schultz brings more than 10 years of vacation ownership industry experience to SPM Resorts.

As vice president of financial services, Schultz will report to Lani Liber, senior vice president of corporate operations. “When we began looking for the right person to fill this position, I immediately thought of Bill Schultz after working together for many years at Bluegreen,” said Liber. “I knew his talents, expertise and management style made him the perfect fit for the position, the company and our culture.”

 

In a continuing effort to provide better service for owners, Schultz will oversee the team responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable for each resort, collections and oversight of rental revenues and payments. As part of IT services, Schultz will work with SPM’s managed service provider to ensure optimum efficiency of the company’s computer systems, software and processes. 

 

Prior to joining SPM Resorts, Schultz traveled in Latin America and the Caribbean on a career sabbatical where he studied Spanish and full cultural immersion. Schultz’s vacation ownership industry experience includes work with Bluegreen Corporation as the director of business systems analysis/financial support services and as director of financial services. He also worked with Boca Resorts, Inc.
