Lani Liber to Lead Corporate Office

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., Oct. 19, 2010 – SPM Resorts, Inc., a full-service professional timeshare management company, hired Lani Liber to serve as senior vice president of corporate operations. Liber, a vacation ownership professional with more than 25 years of leadership experience, most recently served as president and founder of CPC Group, a timeshare consulting firm, and previously served as senior vice president for Bluegreen Corporation, where she was responsible for the owner relations division.

“Lani’s vast amount of experience in our industry and her proven ability to guide and lead teams successfully showed us she was the right person for the job,” said Bill Young, SPM Resorts, Inc. president and chief operating officer. “Lani will be instrumental in effectively leading our corporate office activities, supervising departments and continuing our efficient internal operations.”

In addition to leadership and support at the corporate office level, Liber will have direct oversight responsibilities for departments including human resources, information technology, administration, owner services, communications and finance. As a member of the senior executive team, Liber also will assist in the development of new business opportunities.

As senior vice president at Bluegreen Corporation, Liber was the senior team lead in executing Bluegreen’s customer care strategy. In addition, she was responsible for the engagement and satisfaction of 208,000 owners, including the management of inbound call centers, travel services, communications, quality assurance and owner web services divisions. As a result of her efforts, annual owner-related sales grew from $65 million to $273 million.

Prior to her post with Bluegreen, Liber worked with Sunterra Resorts in Orlando, Fla., where she led the successful development of new resorts and sales centers. She also oversaw the integration of the new vacation club product and supporting software at Sunterra’s many resort and sales locations in the United States.
