While visiting our site at www.spmresorts.com (hereinafter "Site"), we strive to provide you with an Internet experience that delivers the information, resources and services that are most relevant to you. To achieve this goal, part of the operation of the Site includes the gathering of certain types of information about our Site users.

What information is collected about you and how do we use it?
SPM Resorts and our managed properties (hereinafter "The Resort") take care to ensure that the information we obtain from you is not used in a way that you may not be aware of or may not be agreeable to. You may submit a "contact us" request, participate in a promotion or subscribe to our e-mail lists. To facilitate this, we may ask for certain necessary personal information. Should you provide it, we will only use it for the purpose specified on the information-gathering form.
Requests for Information
When you request information from us, we may ask for information from you such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and other information. Please note our ability to respond to your request for information may depend on the registration and/or licensing requirements of the state in which you reside.
Sweepstakes and Contests
From time to time, The Resort may conduct sweepstakes and contests that offer the opportunity to win prizes. Each sweepstake or contest will have its own set of rules and regulations. Individuals will need to refer to each individual rules and regulations for each sweepstake or contest.
When you send us an email from one of our web sites with comments or questions, we may retain information such as the content, your email address, our response and the text of any follow-up questions you may have. This information may also be used to measure how effectively we are able to address customer concerns, to personalize your experience and to improve our products and services.
From time to time, we may conduct online surveys to assess quality control, use of our websites and ease of navigation. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Any contact information collected as part of online surveys will be handled in the same manner as it is handled for the rest of the website.
If you sign up for an email newsletter or other email communication with SPM Resorts or one of our managed properties, your contact information will be handled confidentially. It is the intent for each message to be sent to those who have opted into the communication. If you have not opted in, or have decided you would like to no longer receive the communication, respond to the email using “REMOVE” as the subject line, or utilize the “unsubscribe” link included in the message. Please allow time for us to remove your name from the list.
If you apply for openings with SPM Resorts, you will be required to fill out a job application as found on the website, which includes information such as name, street address, telephone number, email address and other pertinent information. This information will need to be faxed to the HR department and will not be transmitted via the SPM Resorts website.
In an effort to provide more timely owner communications, The Resort asks for each owner to please provide your email address to SPM. Additionally, SPM Resorts may begin sending a company email newsletter. All emails distributed to our lists will contain directions for unsubscribing should you wish to be removed from the list. In deciding to join such lists, please note that they are only used for The Resort purposes or in joint promotions with The Resort partner. We do not sell, rent or share any of your personal information with any other party including any third-party joint promoters, nor use it for unapproved commercial purposes.
A portion of the SPM Resorts corporate site provides an owners’ login for owners to check their maintenance fee payments, download resort-specific communications, update their contact information and more. An owner number and 5-digit postal code is required for accessing the system. If you do not have your owner number, please contact your resort. Any owner information supplied in this portal is dynamically pulled from a web server. It is not hosted on the Internet and therefore is safe. The owners’ login functionality is provided by a third-party software.

Additionally, if you would like to update your primary contact information in our main database, you may do so by accessing your personal profile in the owners’ login. If you experience any problems, please contact your resort.
Protecting Your Information
We want you to feel confident about using the Site, so we have implemented a security program to keep information that is stored in our systems protected from unauthorized access. Our Site is hosted in a secure environment. The Site servers/systems are configured with data encryption technologies and industry-standard firewalls. When you enter personal information, your data is protected to ensure safe transmission.
Safeguarding Your Information
There are currently no areas of The Resort’s website(s) where any personal data would be visible to the public without first obtaining permission from that individual.
How We Use Aggregate Data
We are constantly improving the Site and adding new features and services. We monitor aggregated data regarding use of the Site for marketing purposes and to study, improve, and promote use of the Site. In connection with such purposes, The Resort may share aggregated data with third parties collectively and in an anonymous way. Disclosure of aggregated data does not reveal personal information about individual Site users.

This Site is not designed or intended for anyone under age 18, and minors are requested to not use this site to submit personal information. Should The Resort inadvertently acquire personal information or other data from users under the age of 18, The Resort will not knowingly provide this data to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.
